Gut them, gill them... BBQ and smoke them....

Everyone has done pretty well this year to get their trout through this long...

Think you wont be the only ones in SA to have suffered that fate today... would expect to see similar reports elsewhere.... :wink:

Sorry to hear that Hopefulls, but yesterday I was wondering how many trout people were going to harvest before heaven took them. Was a stinker. And yep, silvers available soon.

Probably a silly thought, - well ok beer induced :drunken:

what about running the system on something like mirror shrimp or a smaller feeder fish until the trout season starts again.Trout arrive and have a feed straight away.

Unless you plan on getting some Silvers from Stu and Dan that is.

At this stage in the game, we are probably going to go with the seasol & Urea routine until end Feb begining of March when the trout start again. That is unless March turns out to be an absolute stinker.
