I'm saying, that after I supposedly use 10Gb (even though I ONLY surf, no downloads) in one month, my internet, through the lovely ppl at Telstra is forcibly slowed to nine tenths of bugger all. But the ways they slow it is pure evil, they allow you a pulse of data at near full speed for a VERY short time, then give you nothing.
Browsers find this very difficult. Downloading anything but text becomes very difficult, as the connection seems to 'drop out' every second, for almost a second.
They say it's capped like this so you can still get your mail, but Micro$oft Outlook has trouble even getting text emails.
It took all of 10 minutes to upload a 10k Gif for somebody here yesterday... it really tries my patience, it's bad enough waiting a minute per click in navigating the forum without waiting for images too.
Also Nocky: Inciting a Vent not in the Venting corner, but on a Newbie's thread? Shame on you!
BTW Brett - Much too advanced to be a newbie from the two pics I've seen so far...

ummm i think i have read the whole forum to at least 18months ago. How do you get yourself away from the pc to do anything else after you have discovered BYAP?

It's difficult... Lose some fish... that caused a lull in my forum activity. Otherwise, there is no hope for you.
