it's a free ride indeed
I doubt the efficiency if what you mean is a restriction in a pipe with a side inlet for the air

has anybody applied one in an "open pipe" situation?

Replying 6 days later does not stop it from being a free ride. :wink: Water is going to drain out of the GB anyway under gravity.

heheheh, I guess with such a big, and evenly populated place with heaps of towns, you'd have to run out of names, and therefore reuse is inevitable, but when I was visiting the US of A, I was surprised at how many country names, and capital city names were used for towns. It seems you have the whole world over there!! :-)
