I find it curious that they're calling what we call AP 'polyculture'...

Be interesting to question them on that. Has anyone contacted them?

I must say though, as a total newbie to AP, I wouldn't have touched that AP setup with a 10ft barge pole.. They need to take pics of a system that at least looks like it's been running for a while..

The polyculture people regard Aquaponics as a form of Polyculture - 2+ species interacting in one system.

This differentiates it from "Monoculture". For example - a farm with nothing but wheat is a monoculture.

I just designed a plug n play pond module. It's two barrel halves in timber framing both auto siphoned out. All parts including nail plates and stain so its STRONG and SEXY - $200. That's not counting labour or a markup. It makes 1m2 garden space in 1/2m2 space.

This product will sell for $500 or not at all. (I've changed my mind on this price, but I would certainly not go under 400. I found some better timber and fittings suppliers...

Think about it. 4 hours work plus 200 in parts = $300 in value, plus installation and my cut and company cut. Mans got to make a living.
