Cable ties replaced fencing wire as the "Bushman's Bracket" in all fields except exhaust pipe repairs - they don't stand up too well there.

Ahhhh big mich, but you can get stainless steel cable ties now, for food factories (they show up in the metal detector tests).

They'd work on exhausts.

I think all three are good, just slightly differing applications. king queen and price.

dont mean to shock but
NEVER EVER spit on your finger and then wipe on the silicon it is better to apply it then spray with soapy water solution then rub it in with disposable surgical gloves the silicon will only adhere were the soapy water is not.
I have a friend who is in his 60s he was a glazier all his life and licked his finger and touched silicon, he has also had part of his tounge and bottom lip removed beacuse of cancer. He had two mates who worked on the same sydney building site suffer the same fate. Also contact can give dermatitous on the finger.

Heres a tip if you get roof and gutter silicone on hands spray with rp7 then wipe with paper touel

Or the Easiest, most effective way to keep all those products off your skin.............................Let the wife do it!

It is always after you start the job and get silicone all over your hands that you wonder... I should have used gloves.... a well!

Sikaflex is far, far superior to silicone. When cleaning up sikaflex use turps.

tea tree oil works well for sikaflex too
