You're right, poor head is better than no head.

The last place I worked I was responsible for the email systems and our company had a fairly strict content policy, hence I have a folder full of all sorts of funny/weird/dodgy files that people love to email each other. This was just another gem that was worthy of filing away.

Some of the stuff I used to see was VERY wrong, and even wronger (is there such a word?) was the people who were sending it, I'm talking senior management, HR staff etc etc. On Fridays, it would usually take me more than 4 hours to go through the queues of quarantined messages.

LOL, there's worse things tio have to do on a Friday!

It has always been a dream of mine to go and see an Australian cricket tour of the Caribbean, you guys really know how to have a good time.

I was lucky enough to see a couple of the tests in India in 2004 when I was working there, in Bangalore and Chennai, and witnessed Warnie take back the world record for the number of test wickets. The atmosphere inside the stadiums was amazing, I have NEVER witnessed anything like it.

LOL MF, my gf cannot understand how I could watch a game that lasts for 5 days and at the end of it all, there might not even be a winner. I love it though, the only good thing about the footy season finishing is that the cricket isn't too far away. I regard baseball in the same way as you do cricket.

Nah Monya, another thing on my to-do list, I think tix have already sold out for all the games so I might have to wait another year . It has been a family tradition to have a party on Boxing day, we invite a bunch of friends to our Mums place and setup a big TV next to the pool. No better way to wind down from a hectic Xmas day than with a few frothies (from S.S. Beer, our homemade floating esky), friends and the cricket. How about the noise when the first ball is bowled, always sends a shiver down the spine.

I've got heaps more pics & some video of the crowd jumping around, dancing and singing, they never stop, and the great thing about the Indian crowds is that they just love to see good cricket. They are very knowledgable, and not there just to drink beer and throw rubbish around like most aussie crowds, especially at the one dayers.

LOL...I suppose it's a bit slow...but by the end of the game, I'm pretty buzzed. What's the Oz term for that?

Ready For Children??....take this test first


MESS TEST: Smear peanut butter on the sofa and curtains. Place a fish stick behind the couch and leave it there all summer.
TOY TEST: Obtain a 55-gallon box of LEGOs (or you may substitute roofing tacks). Have a friend spread them all over the house. Put on a blindfold. Try to walk to the bathroom or kitchen. Do not scream because this would wake a child at night.

GROCERY STORE TEST: Borrow one or two small animals (goats are best) and take them with you as you shop. Always keep them in sight and pay for anything they eat or damage.

DRESSING TEST: Obtain one large, unhappy, live octopus. Stuff into a small net bag making sure that all the arms stay inside.

FEEDING TEST: Obtain a large plastic milk jug. Fill halfway with water. Suspend from the ceiling with a cord. Start the jug swinging. Try to insert spoonfuls of soggy cereal into the mouth of the jug, while pretending to be an airplane. Now dump the contents of the jug on the floor.

NIGHT TEST: Prepare by obtaining a small cloth bag and fill it with 8-12 pounds of sand. Soak it thoroughly in water. At 3:00 pm, begin to waltz and hum with the bag until 9:00 pm.Lay down your bag and set your alarm for 10:00 pm. Get up, pick up your bag, and sing every song you have ever heard. Make up about a dozen more and sing these too until 4:00 am. Set alarm for
5:00 am. Get up and make breakfast. Keep this up for 5 years. Look cheerful.

AUTOMOBILE TEST: Forget the BMW and buy a station wagon. Buy a chocolate ice cream cone and put it in the glove compartment. Leave it there. Get a dime. Stick it into the cassette player. Take a family size package of chocolate
chip cookies. Mash them into the back seat. Run a garden rake along both sides of the car. There, perfect.

PHYSICAL TEST (Women): Obtain a large bean bag chair and attach it to the front of your clothes. Leave it there for 9 months. Now remove 10 of the beans.

PHYSICAL TEST (Men): Go to the nearest drug store. Set your wallet on the counter. Ask the clerk to help himself. Now proceed to the nearest food store. Go to the head office and arrange for your paycheck to be directly deposited to the store. Purchase a newspaper.
Go home and read it quietly for the last time.

Chickens

John the farmer was in the fertilized egg business. He had several
hundred young layers (hens), called "pullets", and ten roosters.

The farmer kept records and any rooster that didn't perform went into
the soup pot and was replaced. That took an awful lot of time, so he bought a set of tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone so John could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing. Now he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency
report simply by listening to the bells. The farmer's favorite rooster
was old Butch, and a very fine specimen he was, too.

But on this particular morning John noticed old Butch's bell hadn't
rung at all! John went to investigate. The other roosters were chasing
pullets, bells-a-ringing. The pullets, hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover. But to Farmer John's amazement, old Butch had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one.

John was so proud of old Butch, he entered him in the Renfrew County Fair and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result...The judges not only awarded old Butch the No BellPiece Prize but they also awarded him the Pulletsurprise as well.

Clearly old Butch was a politician in the making: who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention.
