Hi:

This post on another forum has me intrigued for designing a shipping container-based AP system, for fun if nothing else:
http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load ... 13746.html

There is a lot of interest currently in shipping container-based architecture for houses, etc. and I think making a modular AP system would be a natural use of such a container. Might drum up interest in AP among architect circles?

Here are some shipping containers on Sketchup's 3D Warehouse to get started, and Joel's AP hardware thread:

I will work on my design maybe during XMas break!

I saw a system in S.A. that had the aquaponic fish tanks set-up inside an insulated shipping container. I will see if I can find it again.

Dont know much about it sorry, I just stumbled on their site whilst searching around for AP info:

Maybe some other BYAP members may know them?

The growbed on their "Home" system is pretty much a waste of time... too small, too shallow...

Another aquaculture system with "addons" .... filters, and filters.... to make it look like an aquaponics system.... bit like the "AquaFarm"....

I wouldn't buy one .... certainly not at that price... there are better, and cheaper kits available.... that work....

Their NFT looks good, but I wonder if it's actually run with AP water.... or is actually a hydro system...
