I was at the WACA today in a corporate box (gotta love the silly season for sponsored events) - Good day out.

Looking a little shakey at the start, 3 for 15, picked up after that though. Ponting out for a golden duck. Gotta say, Aussies didn't look too convincing today. Did well to peg back a respectable innings in the end considering the bad start - I'll give them that!

thought I would slip it into general banter!
And I am wondering if they connect the sprayers on the oval to an AP system if that will result in a greener pitch :compress: spun the topic around...it is now AP :D

If you must talk about sport, General Banter is the place for it. But sport?

It was actually a great game... pity the stupid media is writing it up as "a day of shame"...

Congrats to SA... they did exactly what was required of them... and posted the second highest run chase in history...

Now ... if they're run an extra single (or two).... and then let the new boy crack a six...

He would have had his half century... and they would have tied with the WI as the highest run chase in history...

Need to give a little bit more thought to tactics... but overall a "fair" game....
