Got to keep an eye on dogs around yabbies. As a kid we would tip them out on the lawn to count them and then you'd hear. Crunch, crunch crunch. One less yabbie. Dog worked out the only way to eat them and not get nipped was to do it really fast.

When we empty the traps at Dad's farm, we let the small ones run down the bank back into the water.
Dad has two ex racing greyhounds... anything that moves is game. But they're so stupid, they try to sniff them out, WITH THEIR HEADS UNDERWATER!!!! :colors: :compress: :colors:
Funniest thing you've ever seen as they inhale a nose full of water, only to splutter for 3 mins, then put their heads back under!

Well this might be a contentious entrant for a few reasons. Firstly, how can I enter if I'm running it? And secondly, B2Barker took this picture with my camera.. So in theory is it really my picture to post? And thirdly, does it have anything at all to do with aquaponics?

Thats a personal thing, but I find beer to be intrinsically linked to AP.

OK, this is a reminder that the end of the year is drawing near so if you want to be in with a chance of winning the prize then you'd better get your entries in.

Prize for the winning picture is :

1 x Backyard Aquaponics manual/DVD/CD-Rom
1 x Integrated agriculture 6 DVD set
1 x Desktop aquaponic manual
1 x Introduction to aquaponics DVD
1 x Backyard Aquaponics shirt (size to suit)
1 x Backyard Aquaponics Cap
1 x Backyard Aquaponics Drinks holder
2 X Backyard Aquaponics pens
And a years subscription to the BYAP magazine.
(if you already have any items we can swap for other books etc)

Entries close Christmas day.
