Hi All,
I plan a 5m x 3m x 1.2m depth in ground pond (~15,000l's), the 3 metre width is governed by standard 6m width HDPE pond liner
Pond liner will be around about $1000.

Would it be cheaper to use reo & concrete.??

Cheers
Ron

well I figure about 100mm thick would be about 3m² concrete which is about $500, then the reo on top.

I wait to see what C1 says.

Thanks
Ron

hi i helped build an inground water tank/swimming pool and it is almost full. 40,000 litres.
and size is 2.8 m deep x 4.5 metres long x 4 metres wide . hand mixed it would be cheap to build.
we bought concrete for the floor $600.00 plus mesh and the walls were built by hand. so i think the total cost was about $2,000.00 which includes my labour, as i got paid to do it and it took two years to complete, that was because the hole had to be dug with a pick and shovel and wheelbarrow. but i only spent about 3 hours a week on average.

Thats how I'm going to have to dig the hole, nice hard clay with rocks through it, it takes about 1/2 to 1 hour to dig a hole about 1/2 metre round and 1/2 metre deep, for saplings I have been planting.
