Thanks to OBO & Mrs OBO for the inspiration and generous, friendly assistance in setting up my first ap system.
"When the student is ready the teacher appears" certainly is true in this case.

With Kalgoorlie's summer fast approaching I have set up under the back patio outside the dining room window, much to swmbo's horror. Will be able to see fish and veggies growing thru the window.

Have used all recycled materials except for some pvc and retic bits. Siphon system working well with water draining into sump before being pumped into ibc. Pump is on a timer.

Have planted capsicum, cherry tomatos, leek, silverbeet, radish & sweet pea. Urea, seasol & salt have been added to the water while I wait for delivery of sp as currently only 1 lonely golfish in ibc. Water testing is currently showing all the right results.

I look forward to posting updates showing the progress.
