it'd be difficult for them to live in Kal. the reason why their soil is so red is coz of lots of iron in the soil and lots of sunlight.
These millies hate the sun, and likes cold dank damp places.
If you've been to Kal you wouldn't even think it could survive there.

They reckon'd Cane toads could not move over large distances quickly and live in some places they do.
I wouldn't be all that optimistic OBO

Hey, if you guys like to live in a place crawling with black crunchy things (we have rigs at boddington, so I have dealt with them before), and have it rainy and cloudy for 1/2 the year - be my guest :flower:

We have an average of 7 or 8 cloudy days a month - in winter

Thank you OBO.

Low rainfall (low soil moisture) could be one of the reasons why they don't survive there.

I have observed here if it's wet they really get going (breeding).

Same in boddington.

You dont hit any moisture until your reach 5 meters or so from surface out here. Even then its only a trace.

great, we had to build a pipeline so you guys could have some water! It wasn't easy putting Kalgoorlie on the map you know.

They only put it on the map so that people didn't drive into the bloody big hole....

There is of course a rumour that someone in Kal is trying to breed them, hundreds of long tubes, trying to keeping the temp down and a plentiful supply of moisture. I belive they travel all over the SW collecting them
