Like most derogatory terms, often not what was originally intended.

I've heard it said that working for the government, hard labour, was not a desired job. However many new immigrants were coming to our shores. These people were not afraid to work hard, and had no hangups about collecting garbage and other government jobs considered 'distasteful'
So as many immigrants at the time were of Italian, Greek, Turkish etc descent, it became a derogatory name for people of these ancestries. It is now often worn as a badge of honor.

Whether this is correct or not, the term WOG is used to refer to people of South Eastern European descent.

Sorry for bringing up the wog/wogs. Just wanted to point out to ppl and non Aussies re aussie slang.
So ppl still don't know what a wog fish is!

My definition:

wog fish: fish in AP system on mediteranean diet.

Non derogatory
Non discriminating
Non racist
Will get past censors & spam assassins
Could be put into List of Abreviations and Explanations

the commercial garlic and chilli spray i used reeked of garlic but seemed to have no effect. i had a white fly and catapillar infestation. i also tried eco oil and it did nothing. dipel seems to have broken the breeding cycle by killing off the catapillars.
this was all in dirt btw.
