Yes i would recomend autopots i have been using them in hydro for years and they work very well in aquaponics.

today 24 deg trout still in a feeding frenzy,will monitor over sumer and see what happens
but at the moment all is looking good.

how are the reddies going, are they growing and feeding ok?

I've added some 100mm reddies to my new systems sump and I'm keen for a update on how yours are going.

Dont know K E Maybe its all the air from air pump or water splashing into the tank from bio filter temp down to 21 tonight more hot weather to come but it may all turn to shit will wait and see.

Slow growers and hard to get to eat pellets but they will if thats all you feed them.
Gee they taste good one of the best fresh water fish you can get

Looking good mate! I think I'll have to give these autopot's a go. Always been interested, but seeing your setup has inspired me... as usual :P

Also!!! A mate of mine got a 5000lt tank in Ballarat for $750 I think it was, I'm helping him (in spirit and redfin) with his system, he's converting from hydro to aqua and it's going really well. There are more available if you want the details, they're about 3000m across and 750mm deep. Has a bottom connection for a transfer pump, thinking of getting one myself for a bigger system!

Temps today 42 in hot house water temp 26 trout are good.
small reddies in aquarium good this morning dead this evening water temp 32.
made good feeder fish for silvers.
