This is kind of an amusing discussion, I've always wanted more DLS and find it a real drag when it switches back in the Fall. It is extremely depressing when it becomes pitch black outside even before leaving work.

I didn't vote as there isn't a " love it, but wish the pollies would stop F$%&ing with it".

As for the bloke from Albary-Wodonga, he's no orphan. Last summer when Adelaide was suffering through it's record heatwave, an elderly gentleman got on the radio saying that it was the governments fault because it extended daylight savings, so we weren't getting the cooling in the evenings..like you say wayne kerr
