try the search engine, there was a discussion about it months back about the best tank liners...OK I tried the search and found in the hardware discussions, there is a thread about How Many Liter Do I Have, goes into a discussion about tank liners,

I wont attemp to post the link, because I always get it wrong :geek:

If the tank gets any sort of hard use, I recommend the heavy duty EPDM type rubber liner. It costs quite a lot but is definitely heavy duty. I've slipped with the knife before when getting ready to cut holes for fittings and the stuff didn't puncture with an accidental stick of the knife. You have to be pretty deliberate to cut the stuff under normal circumstances.

It is standing up well under gravel in my grow beds.
