Seriously though,

5 ports indicate:
1 x Air In,
2 x Air out,
2 x Exhaust.

This means a directional control valve, which also means

oh. i forgot about having to exhaust the air.............. so VB will need one of those.

heres weird for ya...................... if you were not concerned about air usage, could you use one of F&F's valves and have a tiny air bleed on the line to each side of the ram............?

C'mon, dont tease! 3 ports i floow, 1in alternating out

Thats ok, we can work with that,
There is a problem where we need to exhaust air coming out of the inactive end of the cylinder, to allow travel, but there are simple & cheap ways around that.

Mechanism called a "Quick Exhaust" valve vents downstream air when main pressure is released (couple of dollars each end)

So what about the 240volt thing steve - didn't quite understand what you were suggesting. I don't have 240volt hooked up to the pen.

I never answered your question regarding the door. I expect it would be about 50cm by 50cm. Preferably it would be aluminium plate I guess :D

Have you been talking to steve?? :D :?
Would you like that built into a door frame as well?

oh. i do

ummmmmmmmm..................................

two options. get 12V coils or run the valve in the shed next to the compressor and run TWO air lines to the chooks.

see, now the distance of power from the chooks is gonna bring the wiper motor back into play.

You now Jaymie is just reading this thread shaking her head :)

Lots of coils are interchangeable,
You may be able to fit an LPG coil if the shaft is the right size.
