Drive from Boddington to Wellstead. 450km ish.

Took a small detour through Mt Barker and Porongorup - my favourite winery in the great southern is there

All new RO system to cope with the amount of people being added to the system.

Where would the old RO shed have been?

Great pictures. Used to do a bit of traveling around checking crops years ago. Very pretty places, never thought to bring a camera.

old RO shed was about 20m from the new one inbetween the new one and the Cyanide tanks ( i asume they are still there its been a while ) was a large shed for the Ro we were maintaning caue the one they used before the mine went into care and maintance was sold so they got my boss to make one for the maintance crew

it must be nearly 12 months since ive been down there it must looka whole lot different now

Cheers

Been a bit slack, sorry

Drive from Wellstead to Kalgoorlie, via Southerncross. Around 8 1/2 hours drive.

Wellstead outlook, across to a stormy Stirling Range - the only decent hill in WA.

Hmm, picture rules have been changed - your not allowed to post wide ones any more  Takes the depth out of panoramas.

While driving back through the wheatbelt, came across some interesting creatures:
