Call me crazy, call me stupid, call me what ever, these two kids are ment to be the delinquents in town , and I let them in to see the cat fish and feed the Barra

My theory is if I say NO, they will cause havoc, and to say YES, I will give them a small amount of time and attention, they really need.

My jidgies are stolen already :blackeye:

Oh well

very funny EB  When i have to explain to a 7 Year old, why we don't and won't use a gidgie in the tank, they get that sad look in their faces. :P

I get to remind them that the beach is just over there, like a seven minute walk :P

Thought I would try my Barramundi on a few different sorts of meats and pellets i had here. This poor guy chocked on 'roo.

Back to the fish mince we go.

They have grown heaps really in a few weeks. Have to restock the fridge with fish mince tomorrow. its a gross boring job, but it works. :geek:

Funny that , they are swimming in a pack. They are being fed every two hours ( with time permitting ) until they have had enough. Tank maintenance is on going, because the fish are in the sump. Not the most ideal place for them, but it is working for the short term.

And all the other fish LOVE fish mince, everything is growing and quickly, just can't feed the big caties enough, cause they will wipe out my freezer

I don't have to look for my silvers. I just stand next to the pool and look down. There they all are staring back at me. Going to have to go to the larger pellets. Started them on 2mm. And they have realized that the green stuff that I throw into the pool is also food.

What a bad idea... I put fresh water snails in to the sump a few months back to keep the tank free of slim and thought they weren't doing very good, because they are ment tobe quick to procreate... well I had it totally wrong, they had multiplied and migrated from the sump to the main tank into the pipe work, so far on the first table blocking all the holes up, and creating too much pressure in areas causing water to spray over the table :upset:

The Shire of Ashburton crew have been, seen, and concord. It was a good lesson for them in a different way in gardening. I think they all got something out of it, and thankyou to Faye  for the pamphlets.

I think they may be of on the scab on their weekly garbage run for bits and pieces to build a system  It was a gentle idea of mine..........( 'cause our shire is forever broke doing crap over paid work on unnecessary projects  ) .

Th lecturer is Miles, Goss Burns colleague doing a charity of work with the Leaping Lizards Project and a Community Garden in Onslow.

A good time, I think had by all. And a bit of thought for everybody in being sustainable in the Pilbara.
