If I'm the Oak Park you're talking about, I'm in.

I still haven't started my system - ended up selling house, so all plans got put on hold for a while...

Just cleaned out IBC today and decided to take a looky here to work out this CHIFT PIST thing - it seems that it's the way to go.

Sorry to hijack thread!

Cool bananas, local get togethers sound good, and if there's beer involved my guy will even make an appearance...

You're welcome at our place (to see a partly built system! and a lot of other food plantings and other interesting stuff of that type) for one of these get togethers - how's about a Sunday afternoon - I'm around Nov 9 and 16, as am teaching gardening classes from home on those days - will be free around 2ish. :flower: or slightly later?
Could have BBQ?

Are locals free for avo of the 16th?

I'll volunteer my place first then.

I'm localish too, and actually do have a half built system :-)
Is bundoora invited? or is this strictly a north-west party ;-)
I'm guessing this is getting a bit OT for winter fish growth... in summer, and talking about beer... :-D

Bundoora is still North, who am I to rule you out...

As for people with weddings to go to, they can always host the next get-together and then they know they can come... :D

By the way, its BYO, I'm a bit busy earlier that day teaching (Ornamental edible Garden design)...so I'm only offering the venue!

I've got another idea,

Why don't we all (northerners) put forward potential dates, and then go with the one that suits most of us - as not many have replied to the 16th and I have a bit too much going on to be honest...

Maybe we should wait till after Xmas, when (work) stress levels subside.....

Any other suggestions??!! :flower:

not really an issue for me, but to continue a discussion that happens regularly...

These are used to chill homebrew. You can also use them to heat the water. Stainless steel plates :)
