which in this case (again !!!) is the efficiency of airlift pumps and diffusers aeration
other aeration systems have nothing to do with it.

I have said all I wanted

only data on airlift pumps and diffusers and their efficiency will entice me to react as that and only that is the subject of this thread and of the discussion at hand

Sorry if I misinterpreted you Frank.... I read your post as suggesting that you specifically thought that other methods, that you mentioned, were more efficient and preferrable...

Hence my question as to "ow do we measure and compare the efficiencies".. and "ow efficient overall are the alternative methods when one factors in the cost of energies involved"..

Entirely on topic... i would have thought... energy efficiency....
