just had the main tank flooding for a few hours , ..

water cleared again

and the fish ain't getting any bourbon or beer...to precisious :geek:

just have been observing the small tank and main tank, the main tank has 5 known species, and the small tank has 2, the main tank fish is NOW always looking alive, as before always looked like a sleepy hollow.

Thinking........ Barra are a fight for survival fish, the others can smell or predict the situation :brilsmurf:

Do silvers get a stress spot simliar to the barra's stripe? All of my new arrivals have a spot just behind their heads, near the top fin.

Hijack back...... we all see our fish going through a stress time sometimes, like everbody...... :geek:

I am so happy to have the shade back, temp. reached over 40 oC today in town. Going to be a long , long hot summer. Using 70 % shade, hopefully just right. Will see the out come soon.

Have a situation with root rot in the parsely, not good water flow happening, I am sure. Will have to rip out a monster tomato plant or two. Something not happening right.

Any ideas

I think you may actually be overplanted. Try to make a couple of levels of plants in the growbeds.

Tomatos for a high level, silverbeet for a middle level, then maybe lettuce / root crops below them. Mixing the plants in the growbeds seems to help stop a big mass of roots building up.
