Hi peoples, I came here from the permaculture forum as I have some aquaculture questions and this was suggested as the best place to get answers. Seems like a friendly and busy forum! :D I'm a 28 yr old mother to one 2 year old, and trying to implement more permaculture concepts into our lifestyle. Our biggest hurdle is living in a townhouse with a deck for a backyard. Oh and my partner stubbornly clings to the excessive Western lifestyle we both grew up with, but I'm chipping away at him.

Hi Anastasia, welcome!
There are a couple of people here who have set up small systems that would work on a deck. A few fish and a small herb or vegie garden setup.
Happy reading!

keep chipping away at the other half anastasia - I have been slowly working on mine for about 2 months and he is getting quite keen about it all now. I have only got a small system up and running using a 90 litre rubbish bin!! and growing a few herbs. Just testing the waters till I can get my head around it all but it is working well. So good luck with yours and the folks here are a great source of inspiration and knowledge.
