SR, what are those posts with what appear to be nameplates on them? Is your yard some kind of museum or something?

I'm not astonished at the amount of "things" in your yard, just that you can leave them outside with no cover over them. If we did that everything would die from excess water.

Here I will try to answer the above questions:
Amacafish.
WVO=waste vegetable oil discarded after deep frying by restraunts. To convert to biodiesel does require menthanol, then it will run a diesel engine. To burn WVO in a diesel engine the oil needs to be strained and heated to 170 deg. F. Pictured is not a Sterling engine but a single cylinder 6 hp 650 rpm cold start knock off of the old Lister design. The engine will need a cooling system and muffler. a mount and pulley to drive the alternator. No conversion. I will use exhaust heat to warm the WVO.
Badfish03,
Yes, will have a swamp cooler running near the first fish tank. Will do a fan on the second tank, good idea. I have been trying to lure some flys to lay eggs on rabbit poop. No luck yet, so plan to order BSF larvae after last expected frost. Also plan to put bug light with lure over each fish tank. There are few lights out here in middle of desert and when on one will attract hundreds of bugs.

The sign boards are ledgends for a stone healing circle that I errected over a vortex next to the well. The stone circle is a copy of an ancient Welsh stone cirlce but without giant stones. Instead of large hard to move stones I used crystal stones. Between each pair of stones is a healing gate that effects a given part of the body and the ledgends contain a little prayer to enhance the effect. The overall effect of this thing is a feeling of peace and well being. No joke, this place has a soothing effect on everyone. Most people notice it and comment on it. The next picture is of the whole stone circle.
Jayme,
The humidity here runs 10 to 25% normally. Things do not rust but the wind may carry them away. I have so many projects going that I leave a mess of material and parts everywhere. When I get back to it everything is there. When I am finally finished with a project I do pick up, sort of. I shouldnt be so sloppy but cant seem to help it.
Meancoyote,
Because my pump jack only runs 4 gpm, I store 2800 gal of water. Even irrigating the garden I only need 500 gal a day. It is easier to store water than sunshine so......excess water. Also I have placed IBC's at each down spout on the house gutters. That excess water is used for the garden only, algae and all. See next pics.

File comment: this 1500 gal aboveground storage feeds a 1000 gal. below ground tank thru solinoid and float. 300 gal IBC to rear is emergency water.

Sorry the stones in this old photo were before I found enough large quartz to replace them. Quartz will carry programs and have memory so they are more suitable for this. Note the copper pipe formed into half of a tetrhedran. this enhances the healing effect and acts as transmitter. NO, it has not attracted UFO's.

Spiritrancho, I read in the forum somewhere that you have catfish in an above ground pool, how is that working out for you??? I am planning on using a 4'deep one and sinking it into the ground about 2-1/2 feet. I curious as the the amount of water flow and airation you are using.

It also really looks like you have it going on in the solar and wind power equipment. When you get time I would really like some details.

I retired early, 10 years ago and have been working on this place ever since. Yesterday while working on a solar H.W. system for AP, a hose fitting burst and burned my foot. Today going to town to buy correct fittings im ny slippers. Large blister.
Lots of little set backs like this but am becoming more self sufficient all the time.
Will get throw away camera and shoot the progress to post.
