Hey Bill, and everybody else in Arklassippianna. Thanks for the reply on my post. Whats a "chiftpist, etc." ? Don't have the book yet and am unsure of all the acronyms.
Oh, and to answer your rollcall: sorry man, I'm in AR (northern Louisiana). Go SEC!

It's something like this, Constant Height In Fish Tank Pump In Sump Tank. My first system was a barrel ponics setup and my pump was working from the Fish tank to a flush tank. This caused the water level in the fish tank to fluctuate. By having a sump tank also adds a little volume to the system which is good as it helps slow down the variables and makes them more managable.

Slidell, La just north of New Orleans.
On the Pearl River in the Honey Island Swamp.

I'm just starting my system. Hope to have it operational in a few weeks.

Ocean Springs MS here, I'm building an indoor system for my apartment. My girl friend and I are incubating two apple tree sprout-lings right now and they look like they are hanging in there. I'll post some pictures to a different forum and link to it here or post them here if no on minds. Perhaps I'll do both. Good feeling to know that south isn't void of people who are trying alternative farming.

My system was ready to put the fish in when Hurricane Isaac arrived. The water covered the IBC tanks and damaged a lot of things on my property so it set me back a few months.

I've just about gotten it back to the previous state and I'm looking forward to adding fish and plants soon.

Check my blog to see what it was before the storm. It is nearly back to that condition and I will be adding more posts soon.
