Consider Comfrey. Very rich in potassium. The plant's root system accumulates potassium from deep in the subsoil. Best introduced as a liquid feed. Although this liquid feed will promote flowers and fruit it can be too strong for general use.

It likes shady damp conditions rich in humus. And can grow like crazy... but so many uses this is a bonus.

Cut fresh leaves and pack tightly in a container that has a tap below to draw off the very dark liquid that forms. Keep in a bottle in a dark place and when ready to use, dilute to about 15 parts water. You can spray on leaves in an AP system as a foliar feed. It truly is a remarkable plant.

Check out this site... http://www.the-organic-gardener.com/Com ... #Balance_C

Hope this is helpful to someone! :D

Hey I'm doing aquaponics for a science fair (I will post a thread tommorow hopefullly). I seem to have a potassium deficiency and am wondering how to supplement my system safely. I have access to potassium sulfate. Is it safe for the fish and will it alter ph??? I've been reading alot but can't seem to figure out anything for sure.
