Then I can have 3 phase in my shed for drill press/ grinder etc.

Love 3 phase. We put in a 6.5hp ducted split that was 3 phase and it chews the same as the small split we had before. But this one moves a lot of air. Cools and heats a very large area. And was fun to install.

It was a team of four, 2 boys & 2 girls. A bit like herding cats, but they did finish. Could have been neater. We competed by Webcast from Westport NY to San Jose Calf. There were 200 teams, and about 900 students on the teams. You should have seen what the other teams built! That sure got my teams attention! Lots of really great work and ideas from all.
I'll try to gat some pictures of the other designs ot post.

New Challenge this year. Looks like we will be building a lighter than air aircraft.....Anyone else want to try? I'll help and I'm sure the museum will too.

Matt

Outstanding! Amazing what you can turn your hand to with PVC piping.... Found a design for blades for a wind generator made of PVC piping too. Can dig it up if you're interested. :D
