In anticipation to this Thurday nights arrival, of 200 Barramundi, I have enlisted the neighbourhood kids to give me a hand, in making a nursery net. In exchange, they could pick some tomatoes for there grandmoher.

This is trial net number 1

The Barramundi are comming from the Broome Tafe down Highway 1, to the Onslow turn off on the Greyhound Bus. Its a 166km round trip for us to go and pick them up at the turn off. They are so small 30 mm at the best. My Mangrove Jacks and inbred gold fish will eat them in a day  Thats why the need for the nursery sort term net

Just thinking... you've still got a couple of hours to get home... after how ever long on the bus...

Was a bit worried that you could have problems with heat if it was through the day...

Seems that may not be as much of a problem.... and better to bed them in during the "cool" of the night....

Might still pay to take an icepack or two with you..... depends how hot they get on the bus on the way down....

And please.... resist the temptation to feed them... at least until the following evening...
