We use to run a pump on a timer and add chemical all the time and never get around to swimming in it. So far I think it is costing less to turn it into a fish tank. Going to make a large hot tub for sitting in. Can watch the fish from it. Just as long as I don't end up turning it into a fish tank.

Added 4 goldies and 2 other fish. All 20 to 26cm ish. These are a test for the water with the rest of the silvers(45ish) coming on Wed. They seem to like the pool better than the bucket they came in. :D

Also getting a 1000L ish solids removal tank and some other bits. 4000ish bio balls and the filter they were in. And some more goldfish the same size. And yabbies and a bucket of mussels. $300 for the lot.

Will have to ask what the other fish are. Forky tail or something like that. Was too busy watching the 5foot cod chasing a couple of fish around there tank. He didn't get to eat the goldie as we saved him for my pool. And he'd already eaten 5kgs of fish that week. Funny to see such a large fish feeding.

I keep kicking myself for not bring the darn camera with me. :banghead:

The pool has gone murky again. But the rest of fish should be here on Wed. The goldies swim around the top of a morning. Fast buggers. Seem happy, love the bubbles. Moved a pot near where the bubbles are because they said silvers think they are in a hole and that the bubbles is where the exit is. Why they have there air stones in the middle of there tanks. Otherwise all there fish end up on the floor.

Fish are postponed until the weekend. They want to keep then in quarantine tank for a few more days. Gives me more time to get the green out of the water so I can see the fish. The filter I'm getting was used to filter a tank with 40000 fingerling's.

Apparently I planted some beans. And this is the best shot of the goldfish until the water clears again.

Another mod to the out let PVC. Once the next lot of drum is going I'll put a right angle and join them together. Then the water can fall through a lot of holes along its length.
