Thanks for the compliments everyone... You all must know I am a perfectionist so I try my best. hehe

I must find the balance point between getting it perfect and actually getting it finished... :D

It will be a while before the monitoring system is all setup, but eventually I will setup sms and or email alerts and a webpage to monitor the operation of the system. I am also looking at putting in cutoff valves to isolate beds if a pump fails.

Can't wait to see you do all this. I love the thought of getting an SMS on power outage and possbly some other problematic events. Also love the thought of logging a whole heap of stuff including flood drain cycles and temps.

Ok... a quick update... No pics though, sorry.

No wait come back... lol!

Ok. Got another 25 trout (31 actually, but 6 are for someone else). Took them a couple of days to acclimatise as the tank
they come out of was pitch black. Takes them a while to get used to having people standing over them.

Feeding time is even more impressive now. I stuck my hand in a few time to get the thermometer and got a few bites on my fingers... They
are THAT hungry. I can't keep up. I am feeding them about 1.5 cups of food a day, if not more. So all going good. Some of them are well over
25 cm now. Not long now my pretties... hehe!

As for the plants. Peas are flowering and some pods are forming. Pak Choi have bolted to seed/flowering. Spinach is going great, silverbeat a bit slow but
going good. I have a few onions which have started to bulb, will be interested to see how they go. The lettuce is growing really well. And the strawberry plants
that where shipped from diggers have gone from twigs to nice healthy strawberry plants in only a couple of weeks.

We had a huge downpour of rain last night. Had to take 500L out of the system this morning as the main tank was over flowing. The shade clothe cover was
laying on the surface of the water and the trout were trying to eat the little leaves and twigs blown on top. If you stood back and watched you could see them
hitting the shade clothe from underneath... It was quick funny to watch...

Next big addition is the patio/greenhouse. I really want one of those domed roof patios, but with green house material. So open at the ends and sides. But I need
a bit of money at the moment...

So all going good. So far my death count has been .... 8 Yabbies... We ate 5... Barra ate one and two killed each other.... lol!

Luckily the trout don't have a very strong bite, other wise they would have eaten through the cover to get to what they think is food on the top. Hehe!

I know everyone with trout will agree that, feeding time is like switching on a Jacuzzi. The water just boils... :)
