Blimey! 300! No wonder you haven't had a chance to get the redclaw in there yet.

Good one Brian, I was starting to think I was the only one around here not having fish deaths...was too afraid to say anything just in case I hexed my self

My lowest water temp got to 12C, but was sitting on 15C this morning....my SP aren't eating too much either at those temps

You have mussels in your tank as well from memory, they should be keeping your water pretty clean

Yes, EKB the mussels are keeping the water clean. The temps get to 18 -22 during the day but is only low at night and early morning.

Well long time no post. So here is an update with pics. First the fish are doing well. Still have 375 jade perch. Have not lost one. Water temps over winter went as low as 12 at night and 20 during the day. Air temps in the greenhouse were as low as 3 at night, morning and 23 - 35 during the day. The first lot of pics are of my veggie gardens out side the greenhouse. The beds have Broccali, potatoes, pumpkin, zuccinis, leeks, tomatoes, chockoes, squash, pawpaw, chives, spinach, brown onoins, cucumbers.
In side the greenhouse in the aquaponic system are strawberries, beans, buk choy, celery, cabages, carrots, tatsoy, lettuce, mushroom plant, kankong, parsley, coriandar, capsicums, time, origano, corn, leeks.

Unreal, that looks so good. I wish I could grow corn like that in my aquaponics system. Have to have another go.
Make sure someone gets pictures of you talking to all those children today. I also hope none of them lifts the standpipe surrounds. Kids just have to fiddle sometimes. Beware! :)
