No hangovers in home brew - it's the preservatives that make you crook when over-indulging in commercial beer. Coopers has no preservatives - viable alternative if you MUST buy beer. Of course, you can get some dehydration fallout from any beer, but that's the alcohol, not the presertives. This personal experimentation has been going on for better than 40 years without a scrap of government funding, and in the interests of a better life for all mankind, will continue for as long as I can find the strength to rip another cap off.
