...just to add to that, they have been in my system for around 2-3 weeks now and I have noticed the water is clearer, this was very noticeable when I took some fish pics last weekend and compared them to previous shots

Well worth getting a keeping in an AP system :wink:

Aquablue still can't/wont supply mussles before mid Nov...

Came across these guys in Vic.... don't know what there story is... maybe someone could follow up....

I was thinking of keeping Mussels and Yabbies in a series of 4 maybe 10 interconnecting sumps.
Will the Yabbies eat the Mussels?
Will the Mussels spread and enter the system and block pipes and such?
Do you think you could keep 4 Yabbies in an 80lt rubbish bin if you provide hides?
Will the 10 sumps dramatically reduce the level of DO returning back to the FT?
What do you think? I know its lots of questions but any info would be helpful.
