as i understand marron in with fish is not good. They nip at the fins of the fish until they get so slow that the marron can catch them

Hi Everyone, I'm only new to this stuff (ap & forums ) but was thinking about your problem and after reading and mixing quite abit of imformation from all over this site "How would a yabbie highrise go??" multiple acrylic levels, like a canoworms wormfarm set up with small holes drilled all over to let waste , oxygen and water circulate.....???? maybe I should give it a go in my upcoming system....hopefully get photos up

I've just been enquiring with a supplier and they said you can easily have 50+ in my 800l tank (but mine is shallow wth lots of floor space, much more than an IBC). Having said that, he suggested starting with 20 and building up through breeding or re-orders later, this way you can be sure you have enough hidey-holes.

I'll also be trying to thin out-the male population in my tank as I have read about more territorial and aggression issues with them thank females.

I put 80 in my pool with some PVC off cuts and 3 bread crates stacked up. I see some down the shallow end of a night.
