I'm curious about whether my intended AP will require a cover? Do I need to cover my 2 bath tub GB, 1 500L FT setup? If so, is there a cheap option to do this, such as a plastic greenhouse?

I'm not following you around the forum ... honest :D

$120 ish from kmart. And you will need something to cover your system in summer.

Some time spent browsing the 'members systems' part of the forum will give you a lot of ideas. Time well invested.

Follow me all you like, whilst you keep helping me out :)

Good idea above, but I was thinking more along the lines of see-through shelters (i.e greenhouses). Are they necessary?

BTW, I believe it was you who got me started in all the AP stuff with your post in OCAU! :D

Yay for OCAU

A greenhouse as such is not necessary - but it really depends on your priorities - you will probably get away with silver / jades without a greenhouse - but barramundi would need the greenhouse to keep the heat up over winter.
