Hi everyone;
Does this pump look any good?

Looks pretty solid to me but what I know about pumps I could write on a post-it note.

I would say that the metal pump casing on the ebay one will rust very quickly. It will be noisy as well. (I have one as a diesel transfer pump) It doesnt show any power consumption figures either, and I cant even find that pump on google, the one below is only 35w.

http://www.rockaroundtheblock.com.au/product.asp?pID=608&cID=63

Earthbound sells a very similar pump. I have 4 of them, they are great.

After browsing around for a while a came across very similar pumps to your ebay one, same sort of design, head and flow - and they are over 500 watts!!!

Thanks Outback, quiet, energy efficient and reasonably cheap...exactly what I was looking for. I just bought one from Rock around the Block (your link). Phil at the store was very helpful and I can certainly recommend them for their advice and service.

If you want the low-down OBO ... PM me.... it definitely has potential... but isn't all that it's claimed to be in the description...

Next door to Glen Searle's place... spent a day at Glens... and sussed it out... isn't really being worked at all... or at least not recently... :wink:
