That is a great video - had a tear in each eye :crybaby: one for the warm and fuzzy component and one for the sadness that we have to be so guarded that a simple hug could be banned

Yay guys!
I can tell you exactly where it was cause I saw the guy there months ago AND I gave him a hug! How exciting to see it on video!
My guy was different to the main one (and he was pretty cute too!) People walking along were asking me afterwards - 'whats he trying to sell? " and I - said "nothing! he's just trying to share some happiness!". - Aussies can be VERY cynical about gymmicks and I do like that characteristic but gee it was nice to see someone express something so simple and precious like that. None of us want to be VULNERABLE and asking for affection is a very vulnerable act. Thats why its so powerful and so confronting. I really needed a hug that day and it really touched my heart.
Most of it is filmed in the Pitt St Mall in Sydney - some of it is in Martin Place ( the scateboarding) and some of it is down at circular key and infront of the Museum of Contemporary Art. - all in Sydney
Thankyou so much for reminding me of that day - im so glad I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to score a free hug.

Makes you just want to go out and hug everyone but maybe I should just start with my own kids - I can hear the thump thump of their teenage feet now... must be out of bed and its only 9am!!

Oh, that's just sooooooooo cooooooooool! Awesome dude! What a legend! Sydneysiders would be a tough bunch to crack too... I love that people joined in with him!!! And 10,000 signiatures! GO HIM!!! :lol: It made me laugh out loud... awww... _so_ cool.
