Hey everyone. I haven't been on the forum for a while, so I thought I would get caught up. Our system is doing real well, on our second harvest. The early harvest of lettuce and other early vegetables went very well, and so far the summer crops are doing well also. We have strawberries, beans, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. We had one fishkill due to lack of oxygen when the sump pump failed. I replaced the fish, and we are back in business. We have been comparing the AP system to the traditional garden, and the AP system is faster, and easier, but the jury is still out on the better front. I will post some pictures in a bit.

BB,
Congratulations on success, condolences on fish loss. How fast is the fish growth you experienced? Did you eat any before the "problem"?

Question: what are your parameters for "better"? Flavor? Cost? Labor? Space? CO2 footprint? Nutrient capture? Pests? I've been considering this question of "better" from some of these angles myself.
