i'm going with the UPS at the momemt, i have a new cheaper air pump hooked through it, and there is only a little difference when runnig on backup. $95 for 4+ hours backup + easy.

Which way did you want to go stu?

This mornings readings:

Nitrite .25
Ammonia .5
Ph 7.2 or 7.4
Nitrate>5
Temp 24.7
Do I need to change some water out?

Fishies are really hungry. When I was dipping the test tubes in to get water, they were coming right up to my hands. Must not feed them. Man I need to get those other grow beds finished

Monya, the cycling thing has kicked in now - must go and test mine

becomes a balancing act now with PH, ammonia and nitrites - best I leave that to the experts

Water change? Id vote yes for that. Seems like your Ammonia is going up .25 a day then? Nice and steady, keep them fishies happy.
