Forgot to mention i am doing this to supply to AP'ers rather than for profit, i only put on a little for fuel costs to and from suppliers. I know many larger farms can deny smaller orders so even if you just want a few trout to cycle i am more than happy to get you some.

Thanks for your time

Nic

For those that are unsure, from memory, Nicholas is TimC's brother and has done work experience at the farm in previous years - also offering fish at reasonable prices for WA forumers

Thanks EllKayBee :D

I have put 150+ hours of work exp time into helping this farm and they have given me the rights to on-sell to Ap'ers, it feels good to be able to put something back into the forum for all to benefit. When Tim first started AP i spend hours researching companies for fish and trying to get prices. The hardest thing is to just buy 10 or 20 fish as most of them only sell in the 100s.

Another problem is a lot of the farms are out in the rural parts of W.A and with the given costs of fuel each fish can start costing 1 or 2 dollars more. We are located in Forrestfield which is just in the foothills, i am happy for orders of any size :D

Thanks

Nic :D

Hi Nocky,

Thanks for the offer of blue marron, if you want i will contact a few suppliers see if i can find them cheaper for you and maybe a little closer than donnybrooke :D.

The marron i have are common and its hard for me to give prices atm as i don't want to say $1.50 each and they end up costing me $5 each and are 10cm long

wasn't really an offer Nicolas just a guide, not much difference in price for Blues or Browns, yours at 10cm would be around the $27.50 per KG mark, Blues are expensive through pet shops but from full on suppliers are much cheaper

Nic be careful about selling and especially transporting Marron out of season, there are some very strict rules you need a license basically, http://www.fish.wa.gov.au/docs/pub/Lice ... s.php?0308 look here and definitely look here, http://www.fish.wa.gov.au/docs/aq/aq013/index.php if you don't have a license be careful what you display in public I know people that have been busted
