Nah guys, Ford realised that all the good drivers were driving the good cars.... and went to them with an open cheque book.... only way they were even going to get their shit buckets off the line....

Even had to pinch the Holden engineers as well...

Why am I not surprised that a Ford driver likes brussel sprouts.....

Probably wear a cardigan as well ....

For those in the US... the Holden/Ford rivalry is the mainstay of the V8 Supercar competition in Australia....

It's all good natured, generally..... mostly coz us Holden guys abide by the ozzie adage of either "not kicking a man while they're down"... or giving "the underdog a fair go"...

Yeah sure.... losers...

But wait... there's more....

Q. What would you find in the garage next to the Commodore of a Holden owner?

A. An immaculately polished Harley Davidson and a leather bomber jacket

Q. What would you find in the garage next to the Falcon of a Ford owner?

A. A Vespa... spare cardigan, scarf,... oily rags, tool kit, warped head and other spare parts
