I don't know who owns that website. But the pictures and text was basically what was in the brochure. The i-commerce logo at the top is the same.

When I asked if they had a website, he said that it was a new project and he wasn't sure. Although the meetings have been going for at least 6 weeks that I know of.

For a web based project, it is kinda bad that they don't have a website.

Save your friend,,,best way would be to debunk the crud AT the meeting.
Usually talking one on one with your friend will be inneffective.
A few simple questions,,at the next meeting, should have the desired effect.

!) If this idea is so effective , why are you here giving a speach and not retired in the Bahama's???
2)If this idea is so effective, why are you choosing to publically anounce it,,,,surely that lessens YOUR profits?

Be prepared for typical responses to these questions,.....,,
1) Good question sir,, I do not yet have enough to retire, but I'm building toward that goal,.....,, You answer,,so you haven't trusted this wonderful system enough to invest large amounts of capital? Is this correct?
Typical answer will be about lack of financial access or lack of sufficient time.
YOU ask,,,Why would you lack financial acesss ( credit) if this idea is proven and successfull?
You ask,,,How long have you known about this "system"?
If the answer is a long periodo f time,,,go back to why he is not retired in the Bahamas,.....
If the answer is a short period,,,then ask how he could possibly be considered an expert when he has such limited experience:)

2) Good question sir,,we have chosen to make this information available to a limited number of "special" people in order to maximise profits,.....,ROFLMAO
NOW is time to moove in for the killl,,,REPLY,,so your telling us , YOU have not made much money from this idea AND you want to share this because we are "special"
May I ask what makes us so SPECIAL,,,other than paying for tickets,I assess the group as "average Australians". YOU ask,,,what makes us SO special.
Likely reply from Vendor,,the group is special because they have attended tonight , they understand the "vision" and have spent their time to try to improvetheirsituation!!!

OK,,so far all is easy,,,the "Crunch is now",,,make sure you know within yourself you can follow through,,,not many can.

You say,, OK summarising''raise your voice as the speaker will be trying to fob you off",,,SO SUMMARISING,,YOU YOU are trying to SELL us SPECIAL people an idea that YOU have made little profit from and are unable to get credit towards??
Is that correct??? IS THAT correct sir.
An unproven THEORY that YOU sell but have not reached financial security from???

I've attended more than a few of these Seminars,,, i managed to keep quiet for the first few ,, but that silence was a disservice for my fellow humans. I hated seeing people so wrapped up in the phsyco speach crud and losing their money. I chose to "question" the motivation of the people organising these.....................,,Having been ejected from several "get rich quick" seminars , but watching some 50%+ people leaving at the same time,,leaves me very satisfied.

there IS always the OTHER side,,,there is GREAT information out there,,advice about
solid investments,,choose and choose wisely.

Hey Tim,

there seems to be a lot of these things popping up now days. maybe they have always been around but I didn't know.

i'm not sure if anyone has seen the late night "infomercial" called untold wealth but it is the same shit different wrapper. only in this model you keep purchasing more and more houses. it is basically the model that has made buying a house for most people now impossible. it is pure capitalism and IMO almost a disease. it is very much like a religion only the god is "financial wealth". the problem is people get obsessed and very greedy. sure they have the ability to make $ but they need to sell there soul in the process. and they will never be satisfied as money wont fill the void the seek to fill.

what i would do if i were you is as chappo suggests. only get another friend to go along and video tape it and put it on utube. i for one would love to see it. these seminars are designed for questioning and it will be a simple discussion. its not like you want to defame them as your simply an interested potential investor. if they can't answer these questions then they shouldn't be running these seminars.

perhaps they are legit and can answer these questions. not. keep these people accountable as there are a lot of easily persuaded lost souls in the world. like chappo says its almost your duty to call them out.

my 2 c.

Back to volcanoes for a second: I have definitely seen (multiple times, it's fun!) a show on US cable about the Yellowstone Supervolcano. And how screwed we are if it erupts.
(btw, I've spent a lot of time in Yellowstone, and have a B.S. and M.S. in geology, so I might be able to answer questions if people have them.)

WE ? Interesting word. "We" can be two individuals,I often use "we" for my family. "We" can refer to an entire country,, sex,or colour, religion or sect.

I also remember when the word "gay" meant happy.

Crimany, Chappo.
We - North Americans down-wind. Possible nuclear winter-like conditions.
We - rest of the world - years with no summers, drastically reduced temps, agricultural havoc.
We - would be screwed.

Good enough?

Another way to attack the problem is to sit down with your friend and get them to read this thread - some good points for both sides of the argument

lost track of this thread

thanks heaps for the links, off to have a look at them now :D

I have lived in Rotorua and Whakatane, I was living in Whakatane when Whakapapa had a little hiccough a few years (10?) ago. We had a big ash cloud cover up the sun and the temp dropped about 20 degrees at 3pm in the afternoon.

Never knew you could catch so many fish around my city (Bangalore, India)The Hunt For Channa
I thought it was just a boring typical concrete-jungle-place around here ! (I wish I had gone on that trip!)

I also found there are so many LFS stores - oh dear! And a government aquarium which has a selling section and "lalbagh" - a horticultural green 6 acres of space in the middle of the city. (I knew them as boring things as a kid but now I am seeing them in new light - hey I am going to visit them sometime soon.(within a month)

I am really lucky to be here! Why, it also caters to my other side- science and technology - there is the Vishweshwariah technological museum that I really loved as a kid - it has all sorts of devices whose working is explained (visually - live, hands-on), the Indian Institute of Science besides a whole lot of other stuff and is dubbed the Silicon Valley of India as well as a garden city. (Although now the garden part is reducing with all the apartment blocks)

The bottom line is I suddenly felt attracted to my place and I mainly wanted to show you those pics of the fish-catching.

I've gone to the Yellowstone website and the site says that everything is "normal" there but the Steamboat Geyser – Yellowstone’s tallest and most unpredictable geyser – has become very active. Steamboat’s intervals vary from three days to fifty years (Steamboat was dormant from 1911 to 1961). In recent years, Steamboat has erupted in 1989 (3 times), 1990 (1 time), 1991 (1 time), 2000 (1 time), 2002 (2 times) and 2003 (3 times) and on May 23, 2005.
Shortly after the showing of “SuperVolcano,” the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) released the first-ever comprehensive and systematic review of the 169 U.S. volcanoes. USGS also established a framework for a National Volcano Early Warning System (NVEWS) which calls for a 24/7 Volcano Watch Office, plus enhanced instrumentation and monitoring at targeted volcanoes – including Yellowstone.
http://www.yellowstonepark.com/MoreToKn ... x?newsid=5
Can you assess how stable is the area really? Recently, Yellowstone has taken top priority as a threat and the government is adding additional monitoring devices.
This is a quote from the website-
There are several extinct supervolcano sites around the world, Lowenstern said – the nearest is in the San Juan mountains of Colorado, where a super-eruption blew 20 million years ago, near the mining town of Creede. That supervolcano site hasn’t made a peep since then, he said. Unquote
This is misleading the public into believing that this supervolcano is dormant- not true- this is Yellowstone.
I know that the previous supervolcano eruptions (from Yellowstone's supervolcano) are in other states as the land masses continually shift but the volcano remains static (same thing caused the Hawian Island chain and is still creating new islands under the ocean). This supervolcano has caused massive destruction in the past and I know that the crust is slowing rising in Yellowstone as we type which suggests that the magma chamber is reaching capacity. Comment?

I remember when I was in the US, someone told me that a grizzly can run as fast as a horse!

They also told me that, whenever you are walking in bear country, always walk with a friend.

That way, you don't have to try to outrun a grizzly.

You only have to outrun your friend!
