Hi guys thought I'd go way off topic hear, and show a few pictures of one of my more completed projects. As some of you may have read my dads a semi-retired potter, recently the pottery where he works has looked at other avenues, mostly due to the cheap s**t that comes from over seas. One of them was a pizza oven. The pictures speak for themselves mostly, it is made up of extruded bricks, made at angles to form barrel shape woodfired oven.

It has progressed further than the pictures show. We cooked in it at new-years this year. This one cost us all of $100 to make not including the limestone blocks for the base as all the bricks were from his work.

The only fish that have and ever will be in the pizza oven would be the ones on a pizza or cooke whole in aluminium foil, with onion, tomato and lemon... believe me thats what made it all worth while.

Tim, I won't let my wife read this thread, she will want me to build one. Every now and then she says, wouldn't it be great to have a wood fired pizza oven?
Yours looks magnifico!

The biggest problem at the moment is getting wood to heat it up. We used to go to a place in the hills hear where they had piles and piles of mill ends. One day we went there and the guy told us they burnt it all, to make space. At $40 a trailer they would have made a killing.

you people are artists. They look fantastic. I do think though, that next year for M field day, we should have a field day @ F & F's place. Looks like an adventure!
