Here's some pictures of my redclaw, taken with our spanking brand new camera.
Just a quick question, though. Anyone know what sort of fish these are?

the redclaw use them all the time

alright, guppies it is then. Are we right in guessing that the larger ones are the females? They are making lots of babies.

yes females are always much larger than the males and generally have a lot less colour and don't have the extra long tail fins like the males.

PS: they make rabbits look prude !

Well, just a short update, After we got back from our jaunt, we had to do a bit of mainteance to the system, we had lost some water out of the system because one of the Autosyphons got blocked, We also had a few really cold nights and I "may" have been giving them a little bit more food than they really needed.
This sort of resulted in a minor HSM when I saw that the guppies were all pretty sluggish and that the redclaw, when poked with a stick, barely moved. In fact one hadn't moved for a bit. -el morto! a couple of the guppies went the same way too
So Water change was in order, I put a siphon hose in and set the bottom of it to about 1/2way down the IBC, figuring on doing a 50% water change. Somehow the hose got bumped/played with  and ended up draing at least 80% of the water out.
But at least it got all the old food out  :P

Anyway, everything seems to be back as per normal now, we gave them a few days with no food and now just let Jaymie feed them.

The plants are going ok, little bit of powdery mildew on the cucumbers, the tomatoes have been pruned back to a controllable size and I have just put in a dash of chelated iron. The mustard greens are going well, as is the fennel!! I BT'd the bed yesterday too as they were just starting to get nibbled on.

Cheers Axl
