So, i have 5 of these babies for sale.

i imported a box full about 5 years ago and ended up selling them on ebay as the purpose i bought them for fell through.

am having big clean ups and found the last 5 in a drawer.

They are brand new but i seem to have misplaced the boxes, they are still in their plastic packaging.

They display 0% to 100% humidity and have a set-point that you can set say 65% for arguments sake. there is a 5A (resistive) contact that switches over above setpoint.

it can be connected to say a fan in a greehouse that will exhaust air if the humidity goes above your setpoint.

Instructions will be photocopied as i've lost them too! ;)

I'm asking my cost price for them which was $30 each (plus postage). look around. Its DIRT cheap.

Sorry veeber, i moved all the temp controllers years ago ;) (but i'll send ya the one i told ya about)

Ask questions in this thread as my PM's have a habit of getting deleted due to full inbox ;)

Cheers

Steve.

Those sound great but I doubt we want to mess with shipping them here.

What I'm really looking for is a sensor to control the switch for the bathroom fan. I hate having the fan tied to the light switch but having a separate normal switch for the fan is not good. (Mom's house was nearly burned down by a realitor that left the bathroom fan on for weeks between showings). A fan that would come on automatically when humidity got high and shut off again would be handy.

fan sounds dodgy. should be rated for cont.

normally wouldn't ship to usa, but will do for you if it doesn't work out too expensive postage wise. you can send me USD in the mail.

Just so you guys are aware, its a raw controller with screw terminals on the back. not a plug and play jobbie. you need to wire up a supply and load lead.

TCL, its 220V-240V you guys are on 120V, aren't you?

spew, if it was a higher end controller it would have a 90V to 280V switchmode supply :(

Hold off on the controller for me as we are in the 110-125 V range 60 hz around here. I know they make humidity switches that can be gotten around here as the designer of my house has them in his house.

As to the fan that burned up, well it was fairly old and I'm not sure that the older ones were really rated for continuous (on a package that says something is rated for say 100 watts continuous and the fine print says continuous for up to 20 minutest at a time.) Anyway, that house after being fixed back up again has finely sold but that is a whole other story.

TC a lot of people around here put the exhaust fans on timers. They mount right in the switch location. I think they're around $15-20.

The timer would be my second choice since many people will never bother to turn them on.

my brother uses a push-in timer for the exhaust fan in his toilet. The button gradually comes back out and the fan turns off.
