I think the other impediment to people buying was the set bag size.... as VB says, takes a while for a single AP'er to work through a 25kg bag....

I remember Michael saying that he was going to be producing "smaller" quantity bags... might be a better way of getting some uptake....

Otherwise it means that people need to get together to combine and then divide a bag or two.. to make it economical to freight to many places...

The idea of splitting a purchase was floated around members, certainly for those in NSW... but, for whatever reason, nobody seemed to respond...

Correct VB, not one bag sold to ANYONE in Qld despite the forum hooplah earlier in the year. On the contrary, in Victoria, we have moved nearly half a ton at $99/bag. I was a bit skeptical myself early on but people down here have jumped in with both feet. I have been pleasantly surprised given the price differential b/n the organic food and the other feed available. Also as you mention, 25kg is a lotta pellets.
I guess feeding rates will start to pick up again as the water gets a bit warmer from now on.

I agree with with vb on this...I was close to buying a bag about a month ago then Nick said he had surplus to get rid of, so I helped him out with a trade on smaller pellets

I have been buying a bag(15kg) previously per year, so with more fish and a mature system, I would be looking at 25kg/year...with Nick's lot, this meant that I don't need any until after the winter period.
