I've never done this before and have no plumbing experience (I use hoses in my small system hehe).
So I may be wrong.

I just drew a diagram out of Rupe's post.

You got it Gokul.... if in the future you add more growbeds and you find that the flow to the growbeds is too slow TX.... you merely throttle the ballvalve on the return line back... or turn it off if needed... or even remove the return altogether...

Think most prefer to leave it there for the extra oxygenation though, even if the flow ends up being minimal. No harm in removing it if additional growbeds require the extra flow... as they'll be providing additional oxygenation as they "flood and drain" anyway.

looks just like what I tried to explain .......

Quote:
to tank ----- valve -Output of pump ----- Grow Bed

Valve to tank should be below grow bed outlet. 'Tune' flow to grow bed by shutting down the valve to the tank.

The pump is never pushing more 'head' than absolutely necessary. Is this clear as mud?

Oh Ron you said the same thing all the while...
I misunderstood you ... I :tongue2: thought you wanted to restrict the flow to the growbeds using valves :salute: :blackeye:
