Most efficient way to wash gravel is ??? get someone else to do it.
Lateral thinking.

I have no experience washing gravel. Just wanted to share that :D

But I plan on washing tons of it soon......not sure when.

I do like Chappo's idea.

Mainly, not thread related at all...........

I am curious about the solar apparatus looking doodad on the roof of the neighbor accross the road from TC.

In your photo on washing gravel it is plain as day.

Do you have any information on it?

I washed a mountain of pea gravel using my kids trampoline , I hated using water in such a wasteful manner, but the mesh was perfect and turning the gravel was easy with my 8yr old adding a little bounce now and then.

That be a solar pool heater! Hers is facing west. Jazzyplayermark has some that are damaged but we could probably get some working for that solar heat exchanger idea provided we come up with a low volume high head pump that is energy efficient enough and some appropriate material for contact with fish water to use as the heat exchanger coil.
