Way cool building/shelter material - just inflate and add water! (BTW I posted their concrete shelter info a long time ago here)

Maybe someone here could find use for it to make fish house domes or whatnot.

Neat ferrocement in a roll. GB's and FT's
Synapto could use something like this for his International AP Team.

I thought the same thing. It'd be perfect for something like that.

Hmmm.!
Dig a hole, put the shelter in it (upside down). Add water and, hey presto, BIG fish tank.

Sounds good to me.
Possibly easier to use spray crete.

No Idea, but I guess that it may be comparable with building a brick structure of the same size.
[shock]

Well all it is is a layering of PVC sheeting, canvas, and some "mineral-based" matrix in between to reinforce the concrete mix. This was invented by industrial design students, it probably doesn't have cermet or kevlar involved despite it being marketed for the war on terror.

"Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?"

Currently listening to a modern record, Sultans of Swing (nice guitar work)

I sent them an email about a week ago but haven't heard anything back yet. Maybe I should have signed it "Colonel Dave"?

hehe..you called?
I remember these two students being on "Dragons Den", a tv program where inventors ask 3 rich "dragons" (multi-millionaire entrepreneurs) for cash backing.
They didn`t get it due to including their own "wages" of £70K in the sum they were asking for
Afaik, they`re not in production but no doubts they would make one to order if you have enough cash.

I remember seeing concrete tents when I was researching thinshell concrete construction. The trick was you have a bag that you add a measured amount of water to then attach an inflator to it and once it sets up and you cut the door open you have a relatively sturdy tent appropriate for something like a MASH unit surgery or hospital.

If you really want a sturdy structure, http://www.monolithic.com but there is a little more to the construction than just inflating the bag.
