Ok, so its been a slow day at work.. I wrote a php program to graph my data and then decided that someone else might like to use it. The advantage is that you can store and access you cycle data anywhere in the world and share it on the forum using a SINGLE image URL that is updated in real time as you enter data so people on the forum can check in a single place/image to see the data.

If this is something you admins would want to add to the forum then PM me and I can send you the complete code. It required a mysql database with 2 tables, user, & data.

Please test it here:
http://66.76.55.66/naphtha/test/aptracker.php

Example chart entering "http://66.76.55.66/naphtha/test/image.php?user=Bob" into the img tag
Image

Another feature I want to add to this program is automatic reading of the test kit colors. i.e. upload the pic of your tube to the program and it would read the value and also make the pic available for viewing when the chart is clicked. I would need some help with that because it would require clicking in an area of the picture and reading the color data at that point then testing against a complete range of stored image colors.

Any way.. Just enter a user name and password and click new account. Thats all there is to it right now. You can control what data is graphed too! See the help link in program.

Love the idea ,, BUT ,, there is always a but.....
Basically you have there a simple graph produced from an excel file ,, I already do that.
I would use 3 graphs and 6 parameters so no confusion with data.

Automated clour input is very difficult. I couold take a picture of a test sample from 3 different cameras in three different light situations from 3 differtent angles and give you ...............,3 X 3 X3 = AHH 27 different results.

The idea is wonderful , keep going.

IF you do not want to confuse data then read the help section and turn off what you do not want to see and then change the url for the image with different parameters for the data you do want to see!

Lie this: URL?user=Bob&fish=off&water=off&air=off&nitrate=off
Image

Then if you want only temperature data:
image.php?user=Bob&fish=off&nitrate=off&ammonia=off&feed=off&ph=off&nitrite=off&filter=off
Image

Its pretty universal.. And available online in real time. You post only one pic and it changes automatically showing only the data you want to see.

Theres even a data feature:
image.php?user=Bob&data=on
Image

And since its a picture if for some strange reason you wanted to you can right click the image and save the image.

LOL, I am about to start cycling the first 25% of my system as soon as I get the gravel washed :wash: (oh my ache-n nickers<is that aussie?>) Who would have thought washing 6 yards of gravel would be so hard !?! The clay just keeps coming out. Will it ever be clean? :(

Then I will start charting ;) That is the reason behind the motivation to get this charting program done. This way I can post my progress simply and it is available online to share.

This one I love - then you will need a table that takes into account any dilution factor (used on nitrate readings)...sorry Dan, the gravel washing devil made me do it

No problem :) The weather has been good so I have enjoyed washing the gravel, but it wears me out! I decided that I just can not get it to wash clean so I am going to cut it short and let the extra clay supply nutrients for the plants :geek:
